As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Driver in El Paso, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol chemical and petrochemical locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and responding to situations as needed. You will remain visible throughout your assigned area, support a secure environment, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of the location.Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, with attention to the unique requirements of chemical and petrochemical environments.Monitor access points and check credentials of individuals entering restricted areas, helping to maintain compliance with site protocols.Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns, documenting findings and communicating with Allied Universal management and/or site representatives.Assist with the implementation of evacuation and emergency procedures as directed by Allied Universal and/or site leadership.Support the maintenance of a secure environment by remaining alert to potential hazards or suspicious activities throughout the location.Minimum Requirements:
At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Customer service experience is preferred.Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.A guard card or license is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
