Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a shelter location.Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including common spaces, entrances, stairwells, and perimeter areas, to help identify and report unusual activity and/or hazards.Monitor access points, observe visitor flow, and assist with entry procedures as directed by site policy, including checking identification and/or authorized access lists when assigned.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalating conflicts when appropriate and requesting assistance from onsite leadership and/or public emergency services as needed.Prepare complete and accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations, including documenting policy violations, property conditions, and resident and/or visitor concerns.Perform routine checks of doors, gates, and building systems as assigned, and report maintenance issues, unsecured areas, and/or unauthorized occupants to site management.Provide security-related presence during resident movement, services, and/or program hours, assisting staff with maintaining orderly operations and communicating expectations to residents and visitors.Operate communications equipment and site technology as assigned, including radios, phones, and/or incident reporting systems, and promptly relay information to the appropriate contacts.Support evacuations, shelter-in-place, and other emergency procedures when directed, assisting with notifications, crowd guidance, and accountability per site instructions.Minimum Requirements:
