Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer - Cleared (Clearance Eligible) in York, PA. At Allied Universal, a Cleared Security Officer is entrusted with sensitive information and given the responsibility to protect classified information and personnel. As a Cleared Security Officer, you'll receive specialized training in site-specific security protocols associated with your clearance level, allowing for skill development and professional growth in the security field. This is a driving post, so you will need to operate a vehicle as part of your responsibilities. A valid driver’s license is required to meet AU Driver Policy requirements.

Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour
Job Schedule: 3 Week Rotating Schedule (All Overnight Shifts)
What You'll Do:
Provide high quality security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and information with professionalismConduct patrols within and around the facility on foot or vehicle to ensure the protection of people, assets, and sensitive or classified informationGreet guests and employees and escorts visitors and contractors to secure entry and exit pointsFollow site-specific performance manuals and post orders; reporting safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances via written and oral communication to client and/or other security personnelRespond to and assesses security alarms or emergency alarmsAct as a first responder in emergency situationsMinimum Requirements:
Must possess a high school diploma or equivalentBe at least 21 years of age A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirementsMust already have or be eligible to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Security ClearanceMust be able to pass any State-required training or other qualifications for licensingMust be able to pass a state licensing test if driving a company-owned or client-provided vehicleMust possess one or more of the following:Service in the active-duty military, military reserves, or National Guard OR1+ years of Security experienceBe able to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitorsDemonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the publicEffective oral and written communicationProblem solvingActive listeningAssess and evaluate situations effectively; identify critical issues quickly and accuratelyCompile, sort, and interpret dataResearch, investigate, compile informationMediate conflict with tact, diplomacyWrite informatively, clearly, and accuratelyTeamworkAttention to detailAllied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
