As an unarmed patrol officer at a busy retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible, and help to deter security-related incidents while delivering standout customer service. This is a driving post, so you will use a company vehicle to support patrol coverage and respond to calls for service across the property. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to guests and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a retail setting.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including addressing disorderly conduct, suspected shoplifting, and disruptive behavior while following post orders.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout sales floors, stock areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards, maintenance issues, and policy violations.Monitor access points and key areas for suspicious activity, assist with closing and opening routines as assigned, and support loss prevention efforts through visible presence and observation.Complete detailed reports on shift activity, incidents, and observations, and communicate with store leadership, Allied Universal supervisors, and local law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Guard Card/License preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
