As a Security Officer - Retail Foot Patrol in Claymont, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and document observations and concerns. Provide customer service to clients and shoppers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail areas, common spaces, and the exterior perimeter, including parking lots and loading areas as assigned.Monitor entrances, sales floor activity, and closed-circuit video systems when available to help to deter theft, loitering, and other unwanted activity, and report concerns per post orders.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, assisting with access control, and coordinating with site management and/or public responders as needed.Complete routine reports, incident documentation, and daily activity logs, and communicate observations and follow-up needs to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.Minimum Requirements:
