As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a hotel and resort location, you will monitor and patrol guest areas, entrances, and back-of-house spaces, helping to spot and report security-related concerns while remaining visible to help discourage unwanted activity. You will greet guests with strong customer service, communicate clearly with staff, and document observations using a computer and/or tablet. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a hotel and resort location.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including guest disturbances, medical situations, and property concerns, escalating to local emergency services when appropriate.Conduct regular and random patrols of guest areas, lobbies, corridors, meeting and event spaces, amenities, back-of-house areas, and exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or operational concerns.Monitor access points and visitor flow, helping to manage entry to restricted areas such as staff-only spaces, loading areas, and service corridors according to site requirements.Observe and report suspicious behavior, unsecured doors, and unusual conditions, and promptly notify site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.Complete detailed incident reports, patrol logs, and shift activity documentation using required reporting methods.Provide directions and assistance to guests, including helping to coordinate responses to lost and found inquiries and guest service requests when appropriate.Support crowd management and guest flow during conferences, banquets, and special events, helping to maintain orderly movement in high-traffic areas.Monitor alarms, cameras, and other building systems when assigned, and respond to alerts according to site procedures.Communicate professionally with hotel management, staff, vendors, and local authorities as needed to support site operations and security-related response.

Minimum Requirements:

- Have at least 1+ years of security experience.- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.- Be 21+ years of age.- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.- Have CPR and/or First Aid preferred and may be completed post hire.- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
