What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to residents, guests, and vendors by following site-specific access control procedures and completing required visitor and/or contractor check-in steps.Monitor incoming and outgoing vehicle and pedestrian traffic at community entry points, verifying authorization and documenting activity as required.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site leadership and/or emergency services when appropriate.Complete required reports and logs, including incident documentation, access activity, and other security-related observations.Conduct regular and random patrols of community common areas, amenities, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and/or policy issues.

Minimum Requirements:

Have at least 1+ years of security-related experience.Provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client.A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Lifting more than 20 lbs is preferred.A guard card/license is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
