As a Security Officer - Residential Access Control in Marana, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Officer at a residential community, you will manage access control by greeting residents and guests, verifying credentials, and supporting badge and entry procedures using computer and/or tablet systems. You will conduct routine patrols and remain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related concerns while delivering standout customer service. Provide customer service to residents, guests, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Control access at community entry points by verifying identification and/or authorization, issuing visitor passes as required, and maintaining visitor and vehicle entry logs.Monitor cameras, gates, intercoms, and other access control systems, reporting malfunctions and coordinating service requests per site procedures.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting Allied Universal management and local emergency services when needed.Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance or policy issues. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.Minimum Requirements:
A Guard Card and/or license is preferred.Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
