As a Security Officer - Resident Entry Control in Calabasas, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Professional assigned to a residential location, you will monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. Your role involves delivering outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment for residents and guests. Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.Monitor access points to help control entry and exit of individuals and vehicles at the residential location.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.Maintain detailed logs and reports of daily activities and any incidents that occur.Communicate clearly with residents, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters and/or emergencies.Support emergency response activities as required by site-specific protocols.Minimum Requirements:
At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
