As a Security Officer - Refinery Roving Patrol in Mulberry, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and report concerns clearly and promptly. You will support access control and respond to alarms and/or service requests while providing professional customer service to employees and visitors. Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed.Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, tank farms, rail and/or truck loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity.Control access at gates and/or checkpoints by verifying credentials, managing visitor check-in, issuing badges, and directing authorized personnel to the appropriate locations.Perform vehicle and delivery screening as required, including checking documentation, inspecting seals and/or placards when applicable, and directing traffic to designated routes and staging areas.Monitor alarms, cameras, radios, and other systems, and report unusual conditions, spills, odors, smoke, and/or other operational concerns to site contacts using established notification procedures.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with site personnel and external responders as needed.Complete detailed shift activity reports, incident reports, and/or access logs, and communicate important information during shift transitions.Follow location rules for restricted areas, escort requirements, and personal protective equipment requirements while performing patrol and post duties.Support investigations by preserving observations, documenting timelines, and maintaining chain-of-custody procedures for found property and/or evidence when directed.Minimum Requirements:
