Security Officer - Property Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Property Patrol Driver in El Paso, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed, driving Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will make rounds throughout the property, complete detailed reports, and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related concerns. You will respond to alarms and/or tenant needs with calm, professional customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and management by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.Control access to the property by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials as required, and directing visitors and/or contractors according to site procedures.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site management and/or emergency services as needed.Conduct regular and random patrols of building interiors, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.Monitor building systems and/or alarms as assigned, and investigate abnormal conditions such as open doors, unauthorized persons, and/or after-hours activity.Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and/or maintenance notifications, and communicate relevant information during shift handoff.Provide assistance with tenant requests and service calls as assigned, including escorting authorized personnel and/or guiding responders to the correct location.Support property rules related to deliveries, contractor access, and move-in or move-out activity, and report concerns to site management.Observe and report hazards, property damage, and/or suspicious activity, and coordinate follow-up actions with appropriate contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.A guard card/license is preferred.Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.Alarm panel experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
