As a Security Officer - Plant Patrol in Dalton, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support access points, respond to alarms and/or unusual activity, and deliver outstanding customer service through clear communication. Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, offices, parking lots, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.Control access at designated entry points by checking identification, directing visitors, and monitoring vehicle and pedestrian traffic in accordance with post orders.Monitor alarms, access control systems, and/or CCTV when assigned, and document observations and actions taken per site procedures.Complete shift activity reports, incident reports, and maintenance or hazard notifications, and communicate relevant updates during shift change.Perform foot and/or vehicle patrols to check doors, gates, and critical areas for irregularities such as unsecured openings or suspicious items, and report findings to appropriate personnel.Support emergency and abnormal condition response such as fire, medical incidents, severe weather, and/or evacuation, following site procedures and instructions from authorized personnel.Interact professionally with employees, contractors, and drivers, providing directions, answering questions, and assisting with site rules and processes.Maintain a neat, professional appearance and uphold Allied Universal standards while following all post orders and client-specific requirements.Minimum Requirements:
