As a Security Officer - Plant Patrol in Dudley, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy food and beverage production location, you will conduct routine rounds, remain highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and watch for unusual activity around entrances, loading areas, and key interior spaces. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site teams, and respond to calls for assistance with professionalism. Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical calls, fire alarms, and equipment-related hazards, and notify site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help to identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and potential policy violations.Control access at gates, doors, and designated entry points by checking identification and/or credentials, directing foot and vehicle traffic, and helping to maintain authorized entry requirements.Monitor alarm panels, cameras, and other monitoring equipment when assigned, and report irregular conditions according to post orders.Complete security-related reports, incident documentation, and daily activity logs with clear, accurate details and timely notifications.Support loss prevention and product integrity practices by observing for suspicious behavior, unauthorized removal of items, and tampering concerns, and escalating findings per site procedures.Communicate professionally with site personnel, drivers, and visitors to provide directions, answer questions, and de-escalate tense situations when appropriate.Assist with site emergencies such as evacuations and severe weather procedures by following post orders, providing instructions to occupants, and coordinating with responding personnel.Minimum Requirements:
