As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will greet and assist employees and visitors, document observations, and communicate clearly with site contacts and your Allied Universal team. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a food and beverage production and distribution location.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including supporting notifications, documenting events and assisting with coordination with on-site management and/or local responders.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas and the exterior perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by site.Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by verifying employee, contractor and visitor credentials, managing sign-in procedures and directing visitors to appropriate locations.Support receiving and shipping operations by observing vehicle and trailer activity, checking delivery paperwork as directed by site policy and reporting unusual conditions to site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

Customer service experience is preferred.Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
