What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, post orders, and access requirements.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed by site policy.Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas to help to identify unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations at a technology and telecommunications location.Monitor alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems when assigned, and communicate observations promptly to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.Control access at designated entry points by verifying credentials, managing visitor check-in and/or badging procedures, and directing guests to appropriate destinations per site guidelines.Complete detailed incident reports, shift logs, and patrol documentation with accurate times, locations, and actions taken.Provide escort assistance for employees, visitors, contractors, and/or deliveries as directed by site procedures.Support loss prevention and property protection efforts by observing and reporting suspicious activity, unauthorized access attempts, and/or damaged barriers, doors, and gates.Participate in emergency response activities as appropriate, including evacuation support, assembly point direction, and relaying instructions from authorized site personnel.Maintain a professional presence, follow uniform and appearance standards, and communicate clearly with client representatives, coworkers, and the public.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
