What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, associates, and contractors by following Allied Universal post orders, site-specific policies, and assigned access control procedures.Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to identify unusual activity, unsecured doors, and potential hazards to report.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical or fire-related alarms, suspicious activity, and requests for assistance.Monitor and document security-related activity using patrol logs, incident reports, and available systems such as cameras, phones, and/or radios; communicate updates to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.Control entry and exit points as assigned by verifying credentials, issuing temporary badges when directed, and directing visitors and deliveries to the appropriate location.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
