As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail and entertainment location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control and badge processes while delivering strong customer service and clear communication with guests, tenants, and staff. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a retail and entertainment setting.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including addressing disturbances, assisting with guest concerns, and coordinating with site management and/or local authorities as needed.Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior areas, entrances, game and bowling areas, common areas, and the exterior perimeter, observing for unusual activity and potential policy violations.Control access to restricted areas, monitor entrances and exits, and help to deter theft, vandalism, and disorderly conduct through a professional presence and consistent policy enforcement.Complete routine reports and incident documentation, communicate key information during shift handoff, and support investigations by preserving observations and relevant details.

Minimum Requirements:

Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.A guard card and/or license is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
