Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a retail store and mall setting.Conduct regular and random foot patrols of sales floors, stockroom areas, entrances, and the immediate perimeter to help to deter theft and/or other security-related incidents.Monitor shopper and associate activity, observe for unusual behavior, and report concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision per post orders.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation, supporting loss prevention efforts as directed, and contacting law enforcement and/or emergency services when required.Complete shift documentation such as incident reports, daily activity logs, and maintenance or hazard notifications, and communicate pertinent information during shift turnovers.Minimum Requirements:
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.Alarm panel experience is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
