As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access points, respond to reports, and document observations with clear communication and professional customer service. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, office areas, parking lots, and the outer perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unsecured doors, and policy concerns.Control access at entry points by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, directing arrivals to the appropriate check-in location, and maintaining visitor and contractor logs.Monitor alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems as assigned, and communicate observations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting facts, notifying appropriate contacts, and assisting with scene control until additional resources arrive.Perform vehicle and/or trailer checks when required by site procedures, including logging inbound and outbound shipments and coordinating with shipping and receiving personnel.Complete routine reports such as shift activity logs, patrol documentation, incident reports, and maintenance concerns, using clear and detailed written communication.Support loss prevention and policy compliance efforts by reporting suspicious activity, damaged fencing, malfunctioning lighting, and other conditions that could impact security-related operations.Provide directions and general assistance to employees, vendors, and drivers, maintaining a professional presence and customer-focused approach.Communicate via radio, phone, and/or electronic reporting tools with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership to share updates, requests, and incident notifications.

Minimum Requirements:

Customer Service Experience - preferred.Access Control/Badge Experience - preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
