As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to calls for assistance. You will greet tenants and visitors with professional customer service, document observations using a computer and/or tablet, and communicate clearly with site contacts while supporting a caring, agile, and integrity-driven team culture.

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through the appropriate channels as needed.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout commercial property common areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.Monitor access points and controlled areas, verifying authorization for entry when required and directing visitors to the appropriate location.Complete routine property checks such as doors, gates, locks, lighting, and parking areas, reporting maintenance concerns and potential hazards per site procedure.Maintain a visible presence during patrol and interactions to support a professional atmosphere for the location.Observe and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and security-related concerns to property management and/or Allied Universal leadership.Document patrol activity, incidents, and customer interactions in written and/or electronic reports according to site requirements.Assist with tenant and visitor inquiries, providing directions and basic information while maintaining awareness of the surroundings.Support emergency response activities including alarms, medical incidents, and weather-related events, coordinating with public services and/or site contacts as directed.Minimum Requirements:
At least 1 year of security experience is required.A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
