As a Security Officer - Office Park Patrol in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and tenant needs with clear communication and strong customer service. You will document observations, report concerns, and support daily operations with teamwork and integrity. Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a commercial real estate location.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarm activations, suspicious activity, and disruptive behavior.Conduct regular and random patrols of interior common areas, parking areas, loading and service corridors, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.Control access to the property by monitoring entrances, checking credentials as required, and directing visitors to appropriate destinations per site procedures.Monitor CCTV, fire and life system panels, and/or other building systems as assigned, and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns through the proper channels.Document routine activities, patrol observations, incidents, and tenant or visitor interactions in daily activity reports and incident reports using Allied Universal reporting methods.Communicate clearly with property management and/or responding personnel during incidents, including relaying accurate location details and updates.Perform door and area checks, including verifying doors are secured, gates are closed as required, and restricted areas are not accessed without authorization.Provide visible presence in lobbies, corridors, and outdoor areas to support a professional environment and promote compliance with site rules.Support emergency procedures such as evacuations, shelter-in-place, medical calls, and assisting responding personnel as directed by site policy.Assist with tenant service requests related to access issues, escorts within common areas when requested, and/or reporting of hazards or property concerns to management.Follow all site-specific post orders, Allied Universal policies, and reporting requirements while maintaining a professional demeanor and appearance.Minimum Requirements:
Have 1+ years of security-related experience.X-Ray screening experience is preferred.Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.Alarm panel experience is preferred.Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
