What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting property management and/or public emergency services as needed.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout commercial property common areas, parking areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.Control access where assigned by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and/or directing visitors to proper destinations per site procedures.Monitor and report suspicious behavior, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to the appropriate contacts.Complete daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation accurately and in a timely manner.Operate and monitor security-related equipment such as radios, CCTV, and/or alarm panels when assigned, and report issues per post orders.Provide assistance during property events, deliveries, and tenant move-ins and/or move-outs by maintaining orderly access and reporting concerns.Support evacuation and shelter-in-place procedures during emergencies per site instructions and Allied Universal protocols.Maintain a professional presence, follow post orders, and communicate clearly with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

Be 21+ years of age.Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.Be able to lift up to 20 lbs, preferred.Have customer service experience, preferred.Have alarm panel experience, preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
