You will conduct routine interior and exterior patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and communicate clearly with team members, drivers, and warehouse staff. You will document observations, respond to calls for assistance, and support smooth operations with customer-focused service. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed.Control access to a logistics and distribution location by monitoring entrances, checking identification where required, and documenting visitor and vehicle activity.Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of interior areas, loading docks, trailer yards, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or maintenance issues.Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing clear direction and timely notifications to site leadership and/or emergency services when appropriate.Complete accurate shift reports and incident documentation, including observations from patrols, access control activity, and any security-related concerns discovered during the shift.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess a New York State Security Guard License.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
