As a Security Officer - Mobile Patrol Driver in New Orleans, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, you will spend much of your shift on the move, completing vehicle patrols and visible rounds to help reduce security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and support store teams and guests with clear communication and customer service. A valid driver’s license is required. At Allied Universal, you will work with an agile, reliable team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients and store associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting local law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail sales floor, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential hazards.Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity for irregular behavior, supporting loss prevention efforts by reporting suspicious activity per site procedures.Complete routine reports and document incidents, shift activities, and patrol observations in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.A guard card/license is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
