As a Security Officer - Medical Patrol Driver in Valencia, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy healthcare location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and provide clear, compassionate customer service to staff, patients, and visitors. Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation, reporting, and coordinating with site leadership and/or public responders as directed.Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned areas, including entrances, corridors, waiting areas, parking areas, and perimeter, observing for unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access.Complete security-related documentation such as incident reports, daily activity logs, and shift handoff notes, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and/or site contacts in a timely manner.Monitor access points and conduct security-related checks for doors, gates, and restricted areas, following site procedures for visitor management, badging, and/or directing foot traffic as needed.Minimum Requirements:
Have at least 2+ years of security experience.Be able to work in a hospital environment where vaccines are present.Be able to work in a hospital morgue environment.Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.Have at least 2+ years of service in a healthcare and/or medical-related field.A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
