As a Security Officer - Medical Campus Patrol Driver in Elmwood Park, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Allied Universal Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will complete routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with professional customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid drivers license. You will document observations, communicate clearly, and respond to concerns with integrity while working as part of an agile, reliable team that puts people first.

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff at a healthcare location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical-related disruptions, access concerns, and/or escalating behavior.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout interior areas such as lobbies, corridors, and waiting areas, as well as exterior grounds and perimeter areas as assigned.Monitor access points and restricted areas, help to deter unauthorized entry, and report irregular activity, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns per site procedure.Complete daily reports and incident documentation, communicate updates to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership, and support security-related investigations as directed.Minimum Requirements:
A minimum of 1+ years of security-related experience is required.A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
