What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating clearly with team members and site contacts.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.Monitor entrances, exits and access points to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.Document observations, incidents and activities in reports according to established procedures.Collaborate with site staff and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns unique to a technology, media, or telecommunications environment.Remain alert to changes in the environment and respond promptly to alarms or unusual activity as directed by site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

Have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience or 2 years of security supervisor or manager experience or 3 years of security-related experience.Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.CPR certification is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.Alarm panel experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
