As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Site - Full Time in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support employees and visitors with a customer-service mindset. You will monitor activity, respond to concerns, and document observations while working as part of a team that values integrity, reliability, agility, and innovation at Allied Universal.

Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and reporting requirements.Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the manufacturing location, including production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the perimeter.Monitor access points and assist with controlling entry and exit of employees, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site-specific procedures.Observe and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate contacts per site protocol.Complete detailed patrol, incident, and shift activity reports using required Allied Universal and/or client systems.Assist with monitoring alarms, cameras, and other security-related equipment as assigned, and report malfunctions per procedure.Support emergency and evacuation procedures when directed, including guiding responders to incident locations and maintaining scene awareness.Provide general assistance and directions to drivers, couriers, and visitors, helping maintain orderly movement around docks and staging areas.Maintain a professional presence, follow confidentiality requirements, and comply with all site-specific rules while on post.Minimum Requirements:
Be able to speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.Customer service experience is preferred.Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
