As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Plant Patrol in Waterbury, CT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and monitor access points and key areas. You will document observations, report concerns, and communicate with site teams with professionalism and care. Provide customer service to clients and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking lots, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or hazardous conditions.Control access by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying visitor and contractor authorization, and directing visitors to the appropriate check-in process per site policy.Monitor alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems, and take appropriate action based on site procedures.Complete incident reports, patrol logs, and shift activity documentation with clear and accurate details.Support emergency response activities such as evacuation assistance, area isolation, and traffic or crowd direction as directed by site procedures.Communicate professionally with employees, contractors, drivers, and management, providing directions and answering questions while maintaining post orders.Operate communications equipment such as radios and telephones, and coordinate with other Allied Universal team members for coverage and response.Identify and report security-related concerns such as unsecured doors, broken fencing, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations to the appropriate site contacts.Minimum Requirements:
