As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Access Driver in Darlington, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entrances, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols. Your presence and attention to detail help create a secure environment, while your strong customer service skills foster positive interactions. This post requires a valid driver's license and may involve driving responsibilities as part of your daily duties.

What You'll Do:

Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering or exiting the location to help to deter unauthorized entry.Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to inquiries or requests for assistance.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and identify potential hazards.Document observations, incidents, and security-related activities in detailed reports as required by site procedures.Collaborate with site management and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns and support emergency response activities when appropriate.Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance needs within the manufacturing and industrial environment.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
