Provide customer service to personnel, drivers, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the warehouse, yard, parking areas, perimeter fencing, and dock door areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or maintenance concerns for reporting.Monitor access points and shipping and receiving traffic, including checking identification, managing visitor and contractor entry, and controlling key, badge, and/or gate access per site procedures.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications to site leadership and emergency services as directed by post orders.Complete detailed reports and logs, document patrol findings and incidents, and communicate pertinent information during shift turnovers using approved reporting tools.Minimum Requirements:
CPR and/or First Aid training may be completed post hire and is preferred.Being comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
