What You'll Do:

Monitor access points to help control entry and exit of personnel, visitors, and vehicles in a logistics and distribution environment.Verify credentials and permissions of individuals seeking access to restricted areas, following established Allied Universal procedures.Provide customer service by addressing questions and assisting individuals with directions or site-specific information as needed.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site protocols.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.Document observations, incidents, and activities in daily logs and/or reports as required by Allied Universal and client procedures.Follow site-specific policies and procedures to maintain order and support security-related operations.Assist with emergency response activities, including evacuation or lockdown procedures, as directed by Allied Universal protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 21 years of age.Access control and badge experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
