As a Security Officer - Industrial Site - Full Time in Toledo, OR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations using a computer and/or tablet and provide strong customer service through clear communication with employees, visitors, and your Allied Universal team. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout manufacturing and industrial buildings, production areas, yards, and perimeter routes; working environments and conditions may vary by location.Control access at vehicle and pedestrian entry points by checking identification, issuing visitor credentials, and directing authorized guests and vendors to appropriate locations.Monitor security-related systems and alarms as assigned, report abnormal conditions, and communicate issues to site leadership and/or emergency services when appropriate.Complete required shift documentation such as activity logs, incident reports, and inspection checklists in a timely, clear manner.Perform patrol observations for hazards, maintenance issues, and policy violations, and promptly report concerns to appropriate contacts.Support emergency and non-emergency response activities such as evacuations, severe weather procedures, medical calls, and other location-specific protocols as directed.Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unauthorized activity, theft, and/or property damage in assigned areas.Work collaboratively with onsite personnel, contractors, and Allied Universal leadership to follow post orders and provide consistent service.

Minimum Requirements:

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
