As a Security Officer - Industrial Patrol - Weekdays in Waukesha, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control and badge checks, respond to concerns, and document activity using a computer and/or tablet. You will deliver strong customer service through clear, professional communication while living Allied Universal values of integrity, teamwork, reliability, agility, innovation, and a people-first culture.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, yards, parking areas, and perimeter fencing to help to identify unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns, and report findings per post orders.Monitor and control access at gates, guard shacks, and/or other entry points by verifying identification, managing visitor logs, and directing traffic flow in accordance with site requirements.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with alarm response, contacting on-site contacts and/or emergency services, and helping to coordinate scene control until relieved.Complete daily activity logs and incident reports, communicate with supervision and site representatives, and use radios and other systems to support security-related operations across the location.

Minimum Requirements:

Customer service experience is preferred.Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.A guard card and/or security-related license is preferred.Comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
