Harrah’s Laughlin is seeking a dedicated, observant, and service‑driven Security Officer to help protect our guests, team members, and property. If you have strong situational awareness, remain calm under pressure, and take pride in keeping people safe, this role is an excellent fit. As part of the Caesars Entertainment family, you’ll deliver our Family Style Service while ensuring a secure and welcoming environment.
What You’ll Do
Assist guests and team members in a wide range of situations with professionalism and careRespond to and investigate incidents, accidents, and emergencies involving guests, employees, or propertyRemain calm, focused, and decisive during crisis situationsDocument incidents accurately and recall key details when neededCommunicate with outside agencies—including Metro Police, Fire Department, and Paramedics—during property incidentsFollow all company and departmental policies, procedures, and safety protocolsProvide direction and support during emergency situations, following instructions from management and outside authoritiesMaintain knowledge of investigations, gaming regulations, and internal controlsDeliver Caesars Entertainment’s Family Style Service to guests and team membersIf Assigned to Casino Patrol
Handle monetary transactions between the Cage and Gaming Tables in compliance with gaming regulationsDistribute gaming table cash boxes and assist with box pulls for the count teamProvide escorts for slot drops, stand‑bys, and other secure movements as neededWhat We’re Looking For
High School Diploma or GEDMinimum 3 years of experience in security, law enforcement, or military preferredValid local driver’s license and clean MVR (36 months, not to exceed 3 points)Alcohol Awareness CardDual‑property Gaming License (Tropicana & Harrah’s Laughlin)CPR and AED certificationAbility to restrain adults in excess of 200 lbsStrong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with guests, team members, and outside agenciesPhysical & Mental Demands
Ability to work up to 12‑hour shifts any day of the weekRun, stand, walk entire shift, and maneuver in confined spacesWork in hot or cold temperatures and outdoor environmentsWalk up and down stairs frequentlyBend, reach, stoop, twist, and lift up to 60 lbsPush/pull up to 150 lbsTolerate high‑noise areas and second‑hand smokeSit for extended periods when requiredAccurate money/chip handlingComputer literacy and ability to type reportsMust speak, read, write, and understand EnglishBe Part of Something Legendary
