On-Site **Job Summary:** PacSci EMC is looking for a motivated Security Guard to join our team! As a Security Guard you can expect to be our go-to for driving continuous improvement within the Safety and Security teams. **Primary Duties and Responsibilities:** + Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property, by vehicle and by foot; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry. + Activate and document Emergency Protocol though completion. + Monitors and communicates electrical storms and evacuation protocol. + Monitors and documents in-transit explosive vehicle inspections and welfare checks. + Safety standby during terminations. + Maintain Guard Card, baton, mace, CPR, First Aid, AED, Blood Borne Pathogens and Haz Mat “First Responder” training as required. + Be amenable and capable of attaining a firearm permit through the Bureau of Security & Investigative Services. + Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; restraining trespassers. + Controls gate traffic entrance and exit and directs traffic. + Issues training briefings and maintains electronic database. + Conducts vehicle inspections-incoming and outgoing. + Monitors traffic/parking and issues traffic citations as appropriate. + Conducts facility lock-down and unlock. + Performs magazine security checks. + As the company Operator, directs calls, takes messages, answer questions, and provides information. + Completes objective reports by recording observations by gathering information related to occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures. + Ensures proper operation of security/surveillance equipment; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; evaluating new equipment and techniques. + Conducts safety and environmental related audits under the direction of EHS staff such as Safety shower, eyewash station, fire extinguisher, fire hydrant, generator post indicator valve and emergency equipment audits/inspections. + Maintain daily record of activities. + Perform other duties as assigned. **Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:** + High School degree or equivalent + 1-2 plus years of related experience + Must have a valid Guard Card + Complete 10-hour OSHA Awareness training + Be amenable to carry a handgun. **Working Conditions:** While Pacific Scientific makes its best effort to keep new hires on the shift hired for, it should be assumed that there is a remote possibility of assignment to a different shift due to Company needs. \#LI-AC1 **Ralliant Corporation Overview** Ralliant, originally part of Fortive, now stands as a bold, independent public company driving innovation at the forefront of precision technology.
