As a Security Officer - Hospital Rounds in Ringgold, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support staff, patients, and visitors with strong customer service and clear communication, while responding to security-related concerns as they arise. Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Conduct regular and random patrols of hospital and clinic areas, including entrances, corridors, parking areas, and building perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.Monitor access points and help to control entry to restricted areas in accordance with site procedures and privacy requirements.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical facility codes and urgent requests for assistance.Observe and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel, and document observations according to post orders.Complete security-related reports and incident documentation with accurate details and timely submission.Assist with de-escalation and customer concerns when requested, using respectful communication and referring matters to clinical staff and/or leadership as needed.Support security-related screening and visitor directions when assigned, including providing clear wayfinding and helping to manage patient and visitor flow.Coordinate with hospital staff, local responders, and Allied Universal leadership during incidents, drills, and special events as directed.Operate communications equipment and other site devices as assigned, and maintain awareness of changing conditions through radio traffic and posted updates.Minimum Requirements:
Have a minimum of 1+ years of security-related experience.Meet hospital vaccine requirements.Be able to work in a hospital morgue environment.Provide proof of a high school diploma and/or GED as required by the client.Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
