As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible, and respond to security-related concerns with calm professionalism. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver’s license and meeting AU Driver Policy requirements, as you may move between areas as needed. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical facility disruptions, access concerns, and unauthorized presence.Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, corridors, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.Monitor and control access at designated entrances, check identification as required, and assist with visitor check-in and direction in accordance with location policies.Observe and report unusual conditions, hazards, and security-related concerns, and communicate updates to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.Complete detailed incident reports, activity logs, and patrol documentation in a timely manner using required systems and formats.Support emergency procedures such as evacuations, severe weather response, and lockdown protocols as directed by location procedures and local authorities.Provide courteous assistance with wayfinding, de-escalation support, and customer service interactions while maintaining a professional presence.Operate security-related equipment as assigned, such as radios, electronic access control devices, and video monitoring systems, and report malfunctions or irregularities.Coordinate with on-site staff and responding public services during incidents, and maintain situational awareness across the location while performing assigned duties.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Customer service experience is preferred.Alarm panel experience is preferred.Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
