What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to facility staff, patients, visitors, and vendors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Monitor entrances, public areas, and restricted spaces at a government location; conduct access control duties including verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, and directing foot and vehicle traffic.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, calling for medical or law enforcement assistance when needed, and documenting actions taken.Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by assignment.Complete timely reports and logs, communicate updates to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership, and assist with investigations by preserving observations and relevant information.

Minimum Requirements:

Have at least 1 year of security experience.Provide proof of a high school diploma and/or GED.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
