As a Security Officer - County Intake Control in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal at a government location where you will help monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document activity, respond to requests, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors while delivering customer service that reflects our agile, reliable, and innovative team culture. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors at a government location by following site-specific post orders, access procedures, and security-related protocols.Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and contact appropriate site contacts and/or public emergency services as directed.Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity, noting hazards and/or unusual conditions.Monitor access points and controlled areas, verify credentials as required, and document entries, exits, and/or deliveries in accordance with site policy.Complete timely reports such as incident documentation, shift activity logs, and/or visitor records, and communicate key information during shift handoff.

Minimum Requirements:

Have at least 1+ years of security experience.Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
