As a Security Officer - Full-Time Patrol - Government Site in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy government airport location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will greet travelers and staff, respond to questions and concerns, document observations, and communicate clearly with your team. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government airport location.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with crowd control and coordinating with airport operations and/or local law enforcement as needed.Conduct regular and random patrols of terminals, public areas, parking areas, and the perimeter, documenting observations and reporting suspicious activity and/or hazards per site policy.Monitor access points and restricted areas, verifying credentials and directing visitors and contractors in accordance with posted requirements and site instructions.Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and other required documentation, and communicate updates to the site supervisor and/or dispatch using authorized communication methods.

Minimum Requirements:

Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.A guard card/license is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
