As a Security Officer - Logistics Screening Agent in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

Conduct screening procedures for personnel, packages, and/or vehicles entering or exiting the logistics and distribution location to help to deter unauthorized access and security-related incidents.Provide customer service by assisting visitors and employees with security-related inquiries and following site-specific protocols.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures.Carry out regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter potential security-related threats.Document and report any unusual activity, security-related breaches, or incidents as per Allied Universal and site-specific policies.Collaborate with site staff and other Allied Universal personnel to maintain a security-related presence and support emergency response activities when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

Loss prevention experience is preferred.Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.Access control or badge experience is preferred.X ray screening experience is preferred.Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
