Join Allied Universal as a Dispatch Officer at a busy chemical and/or petrochemical location, coordinating security-related communications, tracking officer activity, and supporting access control and incident response. You will stay visible in the operations center, document updates, and help keep teams connected across the site. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Operate the dispatch post by monitoring radios, phones, alarms, and/or video systems; prioritize incoming calls for service and route information to the appropriate responders.Dispatch roving personnel to areas of concern, coordinate response to alarms, hazards, and operational disruptions, and provide clear updates to site leadership as situations evolve.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, gathering key details and relaying accurate information to responders and site contacts.Maintain accurate dispatch logs and incident documentation, including times, locations, parties involved, and actions taken, in accordance with site requirements.Support access control activities by verifying authorization, issuing directions, and coordinating visitor and delivery processing with on-site contacts.Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.Report maintenance issues, damaged barriers, and/or unusual conditions observed via cameras, patrol reports, and calls for service; communicate findings through established reporting channels.Assist with shift change communications by briefing oncoming personnel on open calls, recent incidents, and site conditions to help maintain continuity of operations.Follow site-specific chemical and process-area protocols while dispatching personnel, including keeping responders out of restricted zones unless properly authorized and equipped.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.A minimum of 1 year of security experience is required.A TSA issued TWIC is required.Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.Loss prevention experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
