As an unarmed patrol officer at a hotels and resorts location, you will monitor guest and staff areas, conduct routine foot rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to alarms and calls for assistance, document observations, and provide professional customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and resort staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including guest disturbances, medical calls, and property-related concerns.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout hotel and resort areas including lobbies, corridors, amenity spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.Monitor access points and public areas, checking for unauthorized entry, suspicious behavior, and policy violations, and notify management and/or law enforcement as needed.Perform routine checks of doors, gates, stairwells, and restricted areas, and report maintenance issues such as broken locks, lighting outages, and other hazards to the appropriate contact.Assist with crowd and queue management during peak check-in, events, and high-traffic periods to support orderly guest flow.Complete required activity logs and incident reports with accurate details, and communicate significant events through established reporting channels.Support lost and found processes by documenting items turned in, maintaining chain of custody, and coordinating return in accordance with site procedures.Operate and/or monitor security-related equipment such as radios, key control systems, and CCTV as assigned by post orders.Coordinate with hotel and resort departments, contractors, and first responders during disruptions, alarms, and service interruptions, following site-specific protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

- CPR Certification is preferred.- Customer Service Experience is preferred.- Alarm Panel Experience is preferred.- Loss Prevention is preferred.- Guard Card/License is preferred.- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
