As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine foot patrols, remain highly visible, and help to reduce security-related incidents through professional presence and clear communication. You will respond to calls, document observations, and assist staff, patients, and visitors with customer-focused service. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout healthcare facilities and surrounding perimeter areas to help to deter unwanted activity, identify irregular conditions, and report concerns to the appropriate personnel.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using de-escalation techniques and requesting additional resources when needed.Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and assist with visitor direction and wayfinding while following site policies.Document security-related activities, incidents, and observations in reports and/or logs, and communicate timely updates to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.Support response to alarms, calls for assistance, and medical or environmental events by coordinating with clinical teams and/or local responders per site procedures.Perform checks of doors, gates, and high-traffic areas; report maintenance or operational concerns that could impact facility operations.Provide presence during special situations such as patient transports, after-hours activity, and high-visibility events, as directed by site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
