As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a transportation location, you will conduct routine mobile patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to calls for service while providing strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients at a transportation location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of rail yard, terminal, buildings, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity; working environments and conditions may vary by site.Monitor and/or control access points by verifying identification, logging visitors and vehicles, and directing drivers, vendors, and guests to designated areas per site policy.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and coordinating notifications to site contacts and/or public responders as needed.Document patrols, incidents, and maintenance or hazard observations using daily activity reports and/or electronic reporting tools, and communicate updates to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 21 years of age.A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.A guard card and/or security license is preferred.Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
