As an Allied Universal Security Officer at a residential location, you will support access control by greeting residents and guests, verifying credentials, monitoring entry points and cameras, and documenting activity. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to residents, guests, and vendors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Staff the access control point by verifying identification, managing visitor and vendor entry, issuing temporary credentials as directed, and maintaining entry and exit logs per location requirements.Monitor cameras, alarms, and access control systems and report irregular activity, maintenance concerns, and policy issues through appropriate channels.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, completing required notifications and documentation.Conduct regular and random patrols of common areas, parking areas, and building perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
