Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.Conduct regular and random patrols around the business location and perimeter, including interior and exterior areas as assigned.Control access to the technology campus by monitoring entry points, verifying visitor credentials, and directing guests to the appropriate check-in process.Monitor alarms, cameras, and access control systems, and report irregular activity per site-specific policies.Complete routine reports and incident documentation, and communicate updates to site leadership and Allied Universal management.Assist with traffic flow and pedestrian movement in parking lots, loading areas, and designated walkways as needed.Support emergency response activities such as evacuations, medical calls, and severe weather actions by following post orders and coordinating with public responders as appropriate.Help to deter unauthorized access, theft, and property damage by maintaining a visible presence and addressing issues in accordance with site-specific policies.Perform other security-related duties as assigned by post orders and Allied Universal management.Minimum Requirements:
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.X-Ray screening experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
