Join Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location as an unarmed patrol officer, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site contacts and/or visitors, and deliver a customer-focused presence that reflects our agile, reliable, and innovative approach. You will support a caring culture, work as a team, and act with integrity every shift.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to tenants, property management, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.Conduct routine access control by monitoring entrances and exits, assisting with visitor check-in and/or badging per site policy, and directing guests to appropriate areas.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, medical events, and building system alarms, and notify property management and/or emergency services as required.Conduct regular and random patrols of interior common areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance hazards or unauthorized access.Monitor cameras and building systems when assigned, watching for irregular activity and reporting concerns through established reporting channels.Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities in written reports and/or electronic logs with clear, accurate, and timely details.Provide customer support by answering routine questions, offering directions within the property, and assisting with lost and found procedures in accordance with site policy.Enforce site rules and tenant policies in a professional manner, using verbal de-escalation techniques and requesting assistance when needed.Coordinate with Allied Universal supervisors and property management regarding post orders, special events, tenant move-ins and/or move-outs, and contractor work to support smooth operations.Operate and maintain post equipment such as radios, access control devices, and report writing tools, and report equipment issues through the appropriate process.

Minimum Requirements:

Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.Be at least 21 years of age.Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.Have customer service experience, preferred.This is a primarily driving post.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
