As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that may help to discourage security-related incidents. You will interact with tenants, visitors, and staff with strong customer service, document observations, and communicate clearly with your team. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property management by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial property, including common areas, corridors, stairwells, lobbies, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter as assigned.Observe and report suspicious activity, unusual conditions, and property hazards, and communicate relevant details to property management and/or Allied Universal supervision.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, access issues, and alarm activations.Control access to the location by monitoring entrances and verifying credentials, visitor authorization, and contractor check-in requirements as directed by site procedures.Perform foot and/or vehicle patrols to help to deter unauthorized access, trespassing, and loitering, and take appropriate action consistent with post orders.Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and activity documentation in a clear, timely manner using required paper and/or electronic systems.Monitor cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems when assigned, and report irregularities per site guidelines.Provide directions and general assistance to visitors, support tenant requests within scope, and escalate issues to the appropriate contact when needed.Assist with emergency and non-emergency procedures such as evacuations, severe weather actions, medical response coordination, and traffic or crowd control as directed.Maintain a professional presence, follow uniform and appearance standards, and practice courteous communication while interacting with the public.Work in environments and conditions that may vary by location, including indoor and outdoor assignments, walking and standing for extended periods, and exposure to weather during patrols.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
